If you want to get the most out of InnovationCamp, we suggest you follow these three guidelines.

Prepare

Before you come, think about what you want to leave with.  Contacts?  Ideas?  Solutions?  If you want to run a problem/solution session, take the time to write down your problem, the background and constraints, and think about how to present it to the other attendees so that it gets them interested.  Feel free to use the session template we've created.  If you're inclined, edit this wiki and use the session template to create a page describing your idea.

Participate

InnovationCamp won't succeed if you don't come prepared to participate.  A user-generated conference depends on the attendees to make it successful.  So don't hold back.  Propose session ideas on the morning of the conference, vote for those you'd like to see, and don't hold back during the discussions.  Because we all leave our titles at the door, no one will know you're not the CXO of BigCorp.

We actively encourage you to bring your laptop, camera, etc. and to capture and take away as much of the camp as you can, but we hope you will turn-around and share some of what you take away with the community at large.  Blog, upload pictures and videos, and help create a gallery of artifacts for the event.
